10¢ per check service charge 10¢ per hundred credit on minimum balance | Senior Account | Senior citizens can utilize a Regular Checking Account free from a monthly service charge. (Customer is still responsible for paying insufficient funds charges)

With this card, you — · Can use money from your checking account, without ever writing a check. · Can manage your money from almost any ATM terminal. · Will no longer have to share a checkbook! Joint accountholders each receive a card. · Avoid carrying large amounts of money, especially to establishments that will not take checks. · Receive receipts for every transaction. · Can use your card anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
As with any ATM card, there is no charge for service at any Bank of Star City ATM, and there are no charges associated with use of the BSC Debit Card at most businesses. However, surcharges may apply if used at ATMs from other financial institutions.
Take advantage of this service as soon as possible, and see what it can do for you! | Overdraft Protection | We offer a $300 “Overdraft Protection” on approved personal checking accounts.
The protection requires no action on your part. Customers’ accounts opened for more than 30 days and remaining in good standing (not excessively insufficient, etc.) will be reviewed as necessary by bank management. ODP (Overdraft Protection) will be placed on accounts meeting all required guidelines.
While we will charge our usual fee per item that overdraws your account, any checks amounting to less than $300 will be paid and not returned. This will benefit you by giving you peace of mind when unexpected expenses occur, honest checkbook mistakes are made, or you run short of cash between paydays and will prevent any additional fees for retailers to redeem unpaid checks. | Telephone Banking Community Bulletins Time and Temperature | The Bank of Star City offers a convenient telephone banking service for all its customers. With this service, balance, check, and rate inquiries on a variety of accounts are available to customers, along with the transfer of funds between accounts, the local time and temperature, and a community bulletin board.

It is defined as an education assistance account established for the benefit of each child (known as a designated beneficiary) under the age of 18, which allows a maximum nondeductible annual contribution of up to $2000 beginning in year 2002. The earnings on the contributions accumulate tax-free if used for a qualified educational expense.
Traditional IRA Account - An Individual Retirement Account established for the benefit of one person.
Qualified Retirement Plan
Regular Roth IRA - A retirement account established for the benefit of one person that allows a maximum nondeductible annual contribution of $3,000 to $6,000, depending on age and year.
Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE) - The SIMPLE is a small business retirement plan where employees (including the employer) can make pre-tax contributions and receive matching employer contributions. Employee’s salary deferrals, employer’s contributions, and any investment earnings are not taxed until distributed to the employee. One of the funding options for the SIMPLE is through an IRA type account.
Simplified Employee Pension Plan (SEP IRA) - Retirement account designed for small businesses or self-employed person to set up a retirement plan for themselves and all employees who meet qualifications. The employer makes tax-deductible contributions directly into the IRA of all eligible employees. |
